Gingerbread house at Oaks Bluff

This is one of the gingerbread houses in Oaks Bluff. Near the center of town there is an area with an outdoor tabernacle and many small cottages decorated in bright colors. There was a Methodist association that used to have camp meetings on this site. Over time families started leasing tent areas and then building cottages on their tent site. The way that the cottages are decorated they look like brightly painted dollhouses. This made me think of my mom when I saw them, I thought she would get a kick out of seeing them.
